Event Description

Join Denver Arts & Venues for the eighth installment in their Speaker Series events. They will continue to discuss the necessary work organizations must commit to in order to be anti-racist, with a focus on tactical and actionable steps.

This free, virtual, moderated discussion with Tariana Navas-Nieves (Denver Arts & Venues, Director, Cultural Affairs) and Dwinita (Nita) Mosby-Tyler (Chief Catalyst, The Equity Project LLC), will be hosted on Zoom. A link will be provided to participants upon registration.

Topics will include:
• How to incorporate equity into recruitment, from the job description to the interview, to making a decision
• How to incorporate equity into employees’ annual goals
• How bias shows up in performance reviews
• Becoming more aware/acknowledging bias in the workplace to create more inclusive and equitable environments
